Zionist regime's diplomats fearing Iran response in wake of consulate attack: Report

Tehran, IRNA – Zionist diplomats are fearing Iran's response in the wake of the attack against the Iranian consulate in Damascus in which seven Iranian military advisors were martyred.

Fearing an Iranian response, the Israeli army said on Wednesday that it bolstered its air defense array and had called up reservists, alahednews has reported.

A Channel 12 report reflecting Israeli speculation on a possible reprisal pointed to the possibility that Iran could respond by directly launching missiles from its own territory.

According to The Jerusalem Post, the Israeli regime's authorities have closed about 28 diplomatic missions in different countries due to threats from Iran after the Tel Aviv regime targeted the Iranian consulate in Syria.

According to the Zionist media, the regime has declared readiness at its embassies since the onset of the war against Gaza and has evacuated its representative offices in Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Morocco, Turkmenistan, Ankara, and Istanbul, but has intensified the readiness at all its representatives worldwide following the terrorist operation in Damascus.

Tehran has pledged to retaliate the Zionist attack on Iran’s consulate in Damascus in which seven Iranian military advisors were martyred.
